The rooms are clean and spacious & the staff couldn't be more accommodating….We will be returning there as often as we can.

We stayed for two nights to attend a wedding. The pool area was great - warm, clean and plenty of seating with a view of the 2nd fairway. Seating/picnic areas in the woods were nice for relaxing…Our kids had lots of fun. The room was clean and a nice comfortable bed - flat screen tv and coffee. Service was good...Take a bike, as the area is good for riding Great wine area also, plus the beach is close by too. We rate it very good for the price and found it clean and peaceful.

My wife and I have stayed at the Inn many times over the past year and have yet to be disappointed. I especially look forward to seeing the upgrades completed soon. The staff is always friendly, knowledgeable about the area and professional.

The Inn at Pasatiempo took the best care of my family I could ask for. The office staff was knowledgeable about all aspects hospitality business. The new restaurant had a fantastic bar and wait staff. The pool and recreation area were kept neat an unbelievably clean. The nights in Santa Cruz are cool and comfortable no air condition needed. All in all we had a fantastic two weeks as a Pasatiempo thanks to their manager Joanna. Thank you again for everything

What a lovely place to stay. The food is off the hook and happy hour prices are decent. Highly recommend a stay here on your next visit to Santa Cruz or surrounding area. A bit off the beaten path, but quiet and comfortable.

This was a one night stop off on our US road trip, but one of our favourite stops! Very clean and lovely room plenty of space and storage. Our favorite bit was walking into the restaurant/bar in the evening, the atmosphere was fantastic, very happy and vibrant. Food was plentiful and lovely, the potato skins the biggest I ever had!

I book this place every time I come to SC. Mind you, I come in the winter/spring... I like it for sure in my winter stays: cozy, spacious, big comfy bed and nice bathroom. Right off 17 and highway 1: fast access whenever you want…I'm highly happy.

I have enjoyed pasatiempo for nearly 20yrs. My daughter and fiance stayed there for their engagement party…and have stayed in their canopy bed fireplace suite for special occasions…The fees are very reasonable with a nice pool area and paths for hiking and a golf course just above. Request a garden view. They have very basic rooms to incredible fireplace suites, Jacuzzi tub. The new restaurant is really good. The staff friendly and helpful.

Darling little hotel nestled in the mountain area of Santa Cruz. Our bed was clean and comfortable. The furniture and sloped ceiling had lots of character…

My husband and I stayed at the Inn at Pasatiempo a couple weeks ago...The location was perfect, avoided tourist traffic by not being downtown. Room was nicely decorated, clean, and comfortable. Pool looked amazing and was heated…will not stay anywhere else when we visit the area!

Even though just minutes from all the attractions in Santa Cruz, you feel as if you in the Country, the rooms are clean and comfy. The staff are all marvelous, and very efficient. Management show a genuine interest towards the customers. I will recommend this place to anyone, they are also very reasonable in comparison to all the other hotels found locally. Two very big thumbs up.

This place is deceiving. I was expecting outdated and musty, ya wrong. Very nostalgic and cool, classy but casual. This is a gem and not a flashy or stuffy hotel. I'm picky too, clean and spacious older style rooms totally updated. A must stay.

The Inn at Pasatiempo was the perfect location for a quick weekend getaway. The room was lovely; the ceiling fan made the temp for sleeping just right. The staff at the front desk were friendly and welcoming. Nice to have fresh coffee/tea in in the lobby each morning. The neighborhood behind the Inn is excellent for a beautiful morning or evening walk. It was super easy to get from the Inn to Santa Cruz or Capitola. I highly recommend a visit to Wilder Ranch State Park. Awesome trails to the ocean.... flowers, birds, seals, and a very interesting visitors' center.
